Technical Delegations in China

Strategic visits to manufacturers, laboratories, trade fairs, and technology hubs to evaluate critical technologies directly on the ground — and accelerate decisions with real, first-hand information.

The problem we solve

Why your organization needs a technical delegation in China

China’s technological ecosystem is advancing faster than Europe can observe from a distance. Key manufacturers do not appear in catalogs. Real innovations don’t show up at trade fairs. And the technical capabilities of each supplier can only be evaluated by being there.

  • Catalogs and websites don’t reflect real capabilities
  • Many European companies end up speaking with intermediaries
  • There is no technical validation without factory or lab presence
  • The maturity of a technology can only be verified on site
    • Going without guidance leads to useless meetings and loss of trust

How a delegation works

BYD

1. Strategic diagnosis

We define your organization’s challenges, objectives, and technological needs.

2. Selection of key suppliers

A curated shortlist based on real capabilities and demonstrable availability.

3. Verified technical agenda

Meetings, demonstrations, factory visits, laboratories, and industrial hubs.

4. Operational accompaniment

Cultural and technical interpretation, mediation, and strategic insight during the visit.

5. Final report with roadmap

Executive summary, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.

6. Ongoing support and intermediation

We assist in negotiations, verify quality, and resolve technical or logistical issues to ensure a safe, frictionless collaboration.

What we visit in China

What we cover during our technical missions:

Each delegation gains access to authentic actors within China’s technology ecosystem: manufacturers, laboratories, and hubs where innovation is developed and deployed. Every visit is selected according to your organization’s strategic objectives.

Real Manufacturers

  • Direct access to real production lines: industrial robotics, energy, applied AI, microelectronics, sensors, and mobility.

R&D labs and innovation centers

  • Prototypes, pilot tests, medical VR, new AI platforms, industrial vision, and emerging technologies not yet available outside China.

Industrial hubs and urban ecosystems

  • Platforms where AI, robotics, logistics, and energy operate in integrated, real-world environments, accelerating innovation and scalability.

In some cases, we also visit top-tier technology fairs showcasing the latest developments in robotics, AI, sensors, mobility, energy, and smart cities. These visits help identify emerging trends, compare suppliers, and access technologies not yet available outside China.

Recent example: Government of Brazil delegation

We recently co-organized an official delegation from the Government of Brazil to explore critical technologies in China, together with our strategic partners. The agenda included visits to BYD (global leader in electric mobility and energy), SANDING (reference company in digital twins for urban governance), United Aircraft (advanced drone developer), Tayada Robotics factory (autonomous urban robots), The Canton International Chamber of Commerce, Networking sessions, Canton’s Urban Development Center, and the Shenzhen High-Tech Fair, to observe trends in AI, robotics, and sensors

The technical and cultural guidance enabled the delegation to interpret each visit, contextualize the technologies, and connect what they saw to the country’s strategic priorities.

Delegation testimonial

Leonel Pavan, former governor of Santa Catarina (Brazil), shares his impressions from the technical delegation organized in China. His testimonial highlights the value of the technical, cultural, and strategic accompaniment provided throughout the mission.

Why our delegations are different

Our delegations begin with an initial masterclass (Day 1) to understand the technologies to be observed, how they interact, and how they are already applied in China — complemented by short briefings during transfers. This is combined with direct access to verified suppliers, technical and cultural interpretation in every visit, and the ability to identify risks and opportunities in real time. We also include a moderate degree of cultural immersion to contextualize the ecosystem.

After the trip, we deliver an executive dossier summarizing key insights and detailing application opportunities for the participating institution or industry.

The result: delegations that extract maximum value, understand the real possibilities China offers, and return home with clear decisions, reliable contacts, and concrete next steps.
